"I have got some bad news for you: No early retirement," he said. "A lot of the tedious things you were doing—allocating disk storage and upgrading the OS—you don't have to do. IT departments are struggling to adapt to an expanding role that includes both adopting innovation initiatives and keeping core systems running effectively, according to the 2018 Insight Intelligent Technology Index unveiled by Insight Enterprises Inc.
