With HITRUST, organizations can measure and benchmark compliance using a standardized compliance framework, assessment, and certification process. HITRUST offers three degrees of assurance and Azure Databricks has met all of the requirements for CSF certification for the highest degree of assurance.

VMware has completed the acquisition of Pivotal Software, a cloud-native platform provider. Following the acquisition, Pivotal's Class A common stock was removed from listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Pivotal will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of VMware. SolarWinds, a provider of IT management software, has acquired VividCortex, a provider of SaaS-delivered database performance management with an emphasis on databases commonly used in cloud-native applications designed to meet the needs of a wide range of customers. SolarWinds plans to add the VividCortex product to its IT operations management portfolio beginning in Q4 2019. The SaaS-based offering will complement SolarWinds' Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), an on-premise and cloud-deployed product.
