Kore Technologies will be one of the featured vendors at Encounter, the annual Eclipse Users Group Conference, taking place September 17-19 in Atlanta. North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) is deploying Entrinsik Informer as its new reporting solution to allow end users to create and run their own reports, and leverage dashboard creation and data analysis capabilities. In evaluating new solutions, NIACC sought to implement a reporting solution that could be set up to easily answer questions as they arise; and provide the ability to join tables and views in the background giving the end user access to more data with less reliance on technology services.

Data representations such as JSON and XML have the ability to extend well beyond the three dimensions supported by the MultiValue data model. Rocket Software has introduced Rocket CorVu NG 3.0, a BI and analytics solution for Rocket UniVerse and Rocket UniData. A highlight of the new release is the CorVu U2 Native Interface that allows the rapid assembly of queries through an intuitive U2-centric UI. The native access to U2 dictionary items enables developers to browse and select from existing field definitions, leverage existing processes and expressions defined in field definitions, and consume existing System Builder or Smart Queries inside CorVu.

Rocket Software has launched a new version of the Rocket D3 database management system - D3 Linux 9.2. This is the first new Rocket D3 product release since the company acquired the TigerLogic MultiValue database business last November.
